My three brothers and I decided that three of us would go to the village, while the eldest would stay back. We left on the first day of Eid. The village is 2.5 to 3 hours away. After visiting the village and our relatives, I received a call from my wife, saying we needed to come back to Karachi immediately. I asked why, and she said they had experienced something frightening in our house after Maghrib prayers. Scary noises made them go to the roof, and they were too scared to return downstairs.
We didn’t even lock the door as we left in fear. I suggested going to a friend named Mulana for help. When we arrived at home with Mulana, my brother felt a strange fear coming from the house, as if something was behind us. After studying the situation for about 20 minutes, Mulana advised us to wear protective talismans and stay in the house that night.
My brother, cousin, and Mulana went to the terrace while I spent the night in terror, convinced we would die. The next morning, I returned to Karachi and found my wife and children frightened at her relatives’ house. After some convincing, they came back with me to our house.
As soon as we entered, I felt terrified. My sister-in-law said the scary sounds were coming from my room. Ignoring her warnings, I opened the door to my room and was hit by a strange smell. When I turned on the light, I screamed—it was filled with black spots and debris. My wife was terrified too and urged me to leave, but I insisted on staying. I read Ayatul Kursi every night for protection, but we still heard knocking and saw a cat come into the house.
One day, I went to Balochistan to see a famous personality about our problems. He told me there were spirits in my room and suggested we sprinkle water in the corners. We did this, and thankfully, we had no more issues.
