HOUSE OF EVIL IN NEW YORK

I had two incidents, so I thought I’d share one recent incident and one from the past. The last incident is from last night. We live in New York State, a bit outside, in the outer county where our industry is manufacturing-related. There’s a small town where everyone lives, and the properties are quite large with lots of trees. After about 6 or 7 PM, it gets dark, and you might see some wild animals out there, like bears.

So, I was at the office with some colleagues, one of whom is a medical professional and is quite a nice colleague. However, she sometimes gets a bit hyper, and people don’t quite understand why she behaves that way.

A few days ago, she called me around 11:30 PM when I was about to go to bed. I found it odd to receive a call at that hour, as it gets dark around 8 PM. I answered the phone, and she was crying loudly. I tried to understand what was wrong, and she asked me to come quickly because she needed help. She lives about two or three blocks away, so I quickly changed and drove over.

Her property is quite large, and you have to go through a forested area to get there. I parked my car outside her house and called her, but she didn’t answer. After a while, she came out and signaled me. I felt uneasy being called over at midnight, especially since I wasn’t sure what was going on.

I was unsure if I should go in, but I decided I couldn’t just leave. She had a bench outside where she started crying again. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me her daughter, around 14 or 15 years old, was inside. Earlier, she had mentioned some background about her family, hinting that they were Muslim.

I suggested she listen to the call to prayer (Azaan), as it can be calming, and she mentioned it helped her feel peaceful. But at that moment, she was in distress, saying her daughter was in the basement and needed to come out. I asked why her daughter was in the basement, and she said she wasn’t listening to her.

As a single mother with a young son, I went to the basement where I found her daughter scratching the wall with her nails and bleeding, screaming to be let out. I tried to talk to her, but she yelled not to speak to her. When I opened the door, she ran outside towards a river nearby.

The mother then told me to leave her alone, saying she had done everything for her daughter and didn’t understand what was happening. The little girl went to a neighbor’s house and rang their bell. This neighbor, an elderly woman, came out and was attacked by the girl with a blade before she ran off into the darkness.

I was shocked when I got a call later about the incident. I had no idea what was going on until I was informed that the girl had attacked this elderly woman, who had no connection to them.

The police arrived, and they handcuffed the girl, taking her into custody. The elderly woman was taken to the hospital but was stable despite suffering deep cuts.

I later learned that the girl had not received help from her friends when she needed it the most. My colleague said this was not the first time such strange incidents had happened in her home. She told me people often dismiss her feelings, and when she sees someone, they don’t believe her.

I felt uneasy about leaving her alone at night, but she insisted I should go. I told her to call the police if anything else happened.

This incident has left me wondering about the mental health aspects involved. After the girl was released, she returned home, and it remains unclear what will happen next. It’s a heavy situation to process."
