My family and I, including three men and a friend, were traveling to northern areas of Pakistan in our car. We left home at 10 AM, reached Islamabad for lunch, and then continued our journey. The trip was enjoyable until it started getting dark, so we stopped at a restaurant because we were tired and hungry.
After eating, we asked if there was a hotel nearby. The restaurant staff told us there wasn’t one nearby but mentioned a hotel further ahead, though its conditions were poor. We were told that a couple had been murdered there, making the place eerie. We decided to ignore this and went to the hotel, where we met an elderly manager who confirmed rooms were available.
The rate was very cheap, so we booked a room. The hotel was small with few guests, and only one other family was staying there, appearing quite scared. We settled into our room and soon after, it became very cold. My friend went to the washroom and felt as if someone was breathing heavily next to him. He panicked and woke us up, but we thought he was joking due to the cold. He recorded the washroom with his phone, capturing some disturbing sounds.
The next morning, he showed us the video which was horrifying. We decided to leave immediately, paid the bill, and went to a nearby café. We were advised to visit a local baba (spiritual healer) due to my friend’s condition. The baba performed a ritual and gave us some amulets, which seemed to help. We paid him, and he refused the money, saying he did it for Allah’s sake.
Continuing our journey, we were so captivated by the beautiful scenery that we forgot about the previous night’s events. We reached a high altitude where our car had some issues. We parked and bought supplies from a nearby store. Our friend still seemed unwell, and a local offered to help us with their vehicle. As night fell, we camped out under the stars. However, our unwell friend suddenly ran off towards a large ravine. We found him later, unconscious, and after reviving him, he explained he had seen a beautiful woman calling for help and was attacked.
