Dallas America's Haunted Park

My name is Syed Abdul Wasi. I wanted to share a personal experience with you and your audience. I am from Lahore, Pakistan, and have been living in New York, USA, for about 9 years. I have been interested in the world of Ghost since childhood and have knowledge about many things related to jinn (Ghost).

The incident I want to share happened in July 2022. My two friends and I took a two-week vacation from work and went on a road trip. Our final destination was Texas. After traveling for three days and driving through constant rain, we reached our hotel around 9-10 PM. We checked into the hotel, settled our bags, called our families to inform them of our safe arrival, and went out for dinner.

By the time we returned, it was already 1 AM. We went to sleep and woke up the next morning around 10 AM, enjoyed our day, and had a good first day of our vacation. On the second day, we planned to visit a local restaurant for breakfast and then drive around the city, shop at a mall, and swim in the hotel pool. We took a nap in the evening and woke up around 6 PM, feeling hungry.

One of my friends suggested we go see the Dallas skyline, which is a night view of the city where you can see all the buildings and lights. We searched online and decided to visit a park an hour away from our hotel. Due to traffic, it took us two hours and 50 minutes to reach the park just before dusk. The park had some light, so we could see it clearly.

The park had a parking area on one side, and on the other side, there was a canal with a private park and the Dallas downtown area starting beyond it. The park was not well-maintained, with tall grass and few trees. There were some people walking back to the parking area, and a police car was parked there for security.

My friends, who were eager to see the skyline, started walking quickly toward the canal through the park. I was trailing behind and casually warned them to be careful of snakes because of the tall grass and bushes. As soon as I said that, I felt a chill, as if I had been plunged into ice.

I realized that there was something unseen in the park. Despite my fear, I ran to catch up with my friends. When I reached them, we were about two miles from the parking area, standing on a path at the base of a hill. I told my friends to take a few pictures quickly and prepare to leave because it was getting dark, and staying here was risky.

One of my friends understood and agreed, but the third friend went up the hill to FaceTime and show the Dallas skyline. I told the friend with me to get him down and head back to the car. As I tried to climb the hill behind them, I felt an intense fear, as if the ground was slipping from under me, and I was being watched.

Summoning my courage, I recited Ayat al-Kursi and continued climbing. I saw that my friends had made it halfway to the car, and I was relieved to see only their lights and no one else around. As I approached the car, I heard footsteps behind me, which stopped when I did.

I initially thought it was just my footsteps echoing, but when I started moving again, the sound followed me. I panicked and called out, asking if anyone was behind me and to stop disturbing me. This was my first experience with such fear, and I was very cautious with my words.

I turned around and saw something I couldn’t believe—a figure about 20 feet away, around 12-15 feet tall, covered in what looked like white smoke. Its long arms touched the ground, and its green eyes stared at me. I was paralyzed with fear and nearly collapsed.

Despite my fear, I gathered my courage and spoke loudly, apologizing for any unintentional harm and asking it to leave us alone. As soon as I finished speaking, the figure disappeared. I ran to the car, yelling at my friends to leave quickly. We drove away in a panic and reached downtown Dallas, where I fainted.

When I woke up, my friends were trying to revive me with water. We were all terrified and decided to leave the hotel immediately. The next two days were spent sick with fever and pain. We cut our eight-day stay short and left after four days, not telling anyone at home about the incident.
